You really need to spend time to truly get to know it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is however another plugin, a less complicated one &lt;a href="http://thomas.stachl.me/plugins/wordpress-gallery-slideshow/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://thomas.stachl.me/plugins/wordpress-gallery-slideshow/"&gt;http://thomas.stachl.me/plu...&lt;/a&gt; - this one uses the WordPress' native media setup yet it integrates JW Image Rotator- give that a try you might like it. For me it did not work.
